The film
Credit: ORNL’s B-roll page asks, “Please credit Oak Ridge National Laboratory, U.S. Dept. of Energy.” The footage is Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s, and this page and the homepage footer give that credit.
ORNL and the U.S. Department of Energy do not endorse CloudJaeger.
The film at the top of the homepage depicts the Frontier supercomputer. It does not depict CloudJaeger’s infrastructure, or an AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud facility. No affiliation, customer relationship or endorsement is implied.
The 24-second silent edit uses four excerpts from the publisher’s offered 1080p download, with cuts, dissolves and a slowed opening shot. It is real footage; the site does not present generated images as a film.
Source: ORNL’s official B-roll collection, which offers the footage for download and requests attribution. Reuse basis: the collection’s offering together with the ORNL copyright status notice. This is not a Creative Commons licence or a public-domain claim.
The film is silent and has no player controls; the “Pause motion” button in the hero stops it, and every other moving part of the page, and the choice is remembered on this device. It pauses when it is scrolled out of view or the tab is hidden, stops downloading if it stays out of view, and does not start on its own when your system asks for reduced motion or your browser asks to save data — the opening then shows a still frame, and “Play motion” starts it. On a screen taller than it is wide, the site sends only the middle of each frame, which is all such a screen shows.
The typeface
The homepage is set in Manrope, copyright 2018 The Manrope Project Authors, distributed under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1.
The logo
The CloudJaeger logo is our own. The homepage shows the original file unaltered; its header presentation crops it and removes its dark background on display.
Cloud provider names
Amazon Web Services and AWS are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Microsoft Azure is a trademark of the Microsoft group of companies. Google Cloud is a trademark of Google LLC.
The homepage names these providers in plain text, only to say which clouds CloudJaeger connects to, and shows none of their logos. No partnership, sponsorship or endorsement by any of these companies is claimed or implied. How deeply each provider is covered today is set out on the evidence page.
The product illustrations
Every figure in the homepage’s product tour — its services, teams, amounts and infrastructure map — is a fictional sample estate, newly written for the site. It is not customer data and not a screenshot of the signed-in product.
