1.Agreement
These Terms govern your access to and use of CloudJaeger (the “Service”). By creating an account or connecting a cloud account, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and your organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2.Beta status
The Service is provided as a private beta. It may change, break, or be unavailable. There is no service-level agreement (SLA) during the beta. We may add, modify, or remove features, and may suspend or terminate beta access at any time.
3.Your account & cloud connections
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account. You must have authority to connect any cloud account you connect, and to grant CloudJaeger the read-only access described in our Privacy Policy. You agree to use the Service only with accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
4.Recommendations are advisory
CloudJaeger produces cost-optimization recommendations and estimates. They are advisory only. Estimated savings are projections based on observed usage and published pricing, and actual results vary. You decide whether to apply any change, and you are responsible for testing and for the outcome in your own environment. Today, CloudJaeger operates as an advisory, read-only service: we do not make changes to, or execute purchases in, your cloud account on your behalf, and no automatic purchasing occurs.
Mandated execution (future, Enterprise). The Service includes an execution rail for commitment purchases that is currently not armed: live purchasing is disabled in the product and every execution runs as a dry run. If and when execution becomes available, it will be offered only under a separate written execution mandate and supplemental terms, with explicit per-run authorization and hard caps. Nothing in these Terms enables CloudJaeger to spend money on your behalf.
5.Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service in compliance with our Acceptable Use Policy and all applicable laws. We may suspend access for violations.
6.Plans & billing
Some features require a paid plan. Fees, billing cycle, and included usage are shown at checkout. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor. Beta pricing may change; we will give notice before charging for features that are free during the beta.
7.Intellectual property
We own the Service, including its software, models, and content (excluding your data). You own your data. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide and improve the Service as described in the Privacy Policy.
8.Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate or recommendation will achieve a particular result.
9.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CloudJaeger will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues. During the beta, our total aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the fees you paid in the prior three months or USD 100.
10.Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, we delete your data per the retention section of the Privacy Policy.
